IAG Cargo performs special Diwali service
IAG Cargo helped Ashish Asaf from S.A Group, a customer based in India, when it became aware that he would be unable to spend Diwali with his family due to work commitments and Covid-19 restrictions.
To help bring the family together at this special time - the Hindu festival of lights is to be celebrated from tomorrow, 14 November2020 - the cargo division of the International Airline Group arranged for a box of home-made traditional sweets to be transported from Delhi to London.
Ankush Chawla, area commercial manager for South Asia: "Moving precious cargo around the world is what IAG Cargo does every day. When we heard that Mr. Asaf, was unable to be with his family, we were pleased to be able to make a special delivery via one of our flights to London from Delhi, just in time for Diwali." (ah)
