IAG Cargo back to South Korea
IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG) has announced a return of its direct service from the UK to South Korea, a high growth market for UK exports, and one of the largest exporters in the world, especially electronics and automotive parts.
Paused due to the pandemic, the London Heathrow – Seoul-Incheon route is also significant for the export of pharmaceutical goods across the world, using IAG Cargo’s "constant climate" service.
The thrice weekly B787 LHR – INC service marks an important development in IAG Cargo’s work to support key trade routes for its customers.
Alec Rayner, area commercial manager for Japan & Korea: "Last year the UK-Korea Free Trade Agreement was signed allowing businesses between South Korea and UK to guarantee a continued free flow of goods." (ah)
