Hypertrucks for North American network
DSV has placed an initial order for ten Hypertruck units from manufacturer Hyliion. In order to reduce its carbon footprint and offer lower-emission solutions to meet customer demand, DSV is planning to implement the electrified powertrain technology along its Pan-American routes.
Hyliion will begin delivering the Hypertruck ERX units to DSV in Q1/2024. Expecting a successful trial period, DSV has placed an option for ten additional trucks to be delivered later in 2024.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas (USA), Hyliion designs, develops, and sells electrified powertrain solutions that are designed to be installed on most major Class 8 commercial trucks. (ben)
