HVO for more than 2,500 vehicles on Spanish roads
XPO and Repsol have launched Less, a low-emission sustainable solution, in Spain. With the initiative, the two companies aim to accelerate the energy transition with renewable fuels, also known as HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).
HVO can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional fuels and without the need to modify the current vehicle fleet.
Through the partnership, customers will be supplied by XPO's own network of fuelling stations from now on. These fuelling stations serve the more than 2,500 vehicles that XPO regularly operates in Spain for full-truckload, less-than-truckload, pallet distribution and last mile services, among others. (ben)
