Hupac launches new China-Poland service
The Swiss intermodal operator continues its close cooperation with the Chinese Xian City Platform. After a first successful train between Xian and Milan (Busto Arsizio) in Italy in 2019, Hupac now connects the emerging Xian business region in Western China with Warsaw in Poland.
The train left Xian's international port area with 48 loading units containing mainly consumer goods. After a journey of 13 days via Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, it recently arrived at Warsaw terminal.
The goods are destined for various markets: mainly Poland, but also Germany and Spain. The new service Xian-Poland will run with weekly departures in both directions. (ben)
