Hupac increases train frequency
The Swiss Intermodal Operator is expanding its shuttle services between Germany and Italy: as of 7 February 2022, the company will be offering three round trips per week on its Duisburg – Proderonone line. With the extension, Hupac provides a stable intermodal service between north-east Italy and Duisburg Hohenbudberg, with ongoing connections to Poland.
The Hupac Group runs 150 train services per day connecting Europe’s major economic areas and offering links to Russia and the Far East as well. Its companies have 7,700 rail platforms at their command and operate their own terminals at important hubs.
Founded in 1967, Hupac has 23 affiliates with locations in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Russia and China. (ben)
