Hungary: first non-craneable semi-trailers shipped by train
TX Logistik (TXL) is now deploying the NiKRASA system in Hungary as well. Thus non-craneable semi-trailers can be loaded in this country, too.
In Budapest's rail terminal Mahart Container Center recently, the first non-craneable semitrailers were successfully loaded for the freight forwarder International-Alexander, a newly acquired Hungarian customer, and transported to Herne in Germany.
"Traffic volumes between Hungary and Germany have always been high. However, so far only very few craneable semitrailers have been available for carriage by train in Hungary," says TXL's Bernd Weisweiler. (ben)
