Hungary Airlines choses Hactl
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has signed its first new carrier in 2025, securing a handling contract with Hungary Airlines.
The airline has launched scheduled Budapest–Hong Kong services using Airbus A330F freighters with a 62 t capacity, strengthening trade links between Greater China and the EU. At the world’s biggest air cargo hub, Hactl will provide terminal operations, aircraft handling and documentation.
Budapest is a growing e-commerce hub, and Hungary Airlines plans to expand to the USA and the Middle East as its fleet grows. Hactl chief executive Wilson Kwong welcomed the partnership, saying that "Hungary Airlines’ new services enhance Hactl’s global connectivity. We’re looking forward to supporting its growth as an e-commerce specialist, which is in line with our focus on this sector." (ah)
