Hubtex integrates Australian business
German forklift manufacturer Hubtex is integrating former licensee Hubtex Australia into the company and turning it into a subsidiary. Hubtex Australia (then called "Parry Forklifts") was founded in 1995 by Bill Parry and has been trading under its current name since 2000.
Parry will remain aboard as a consultant in sales, marketing and business development. His long-standing partner Bruce Peatman will take over the management of the company.
He will be supported by Lars Beuel, who will assume this role in addition to his position as sales manager for material handling at the Hubtex head office. Buel has been overseeing Hubtex Australia from the factory in Germany for already 15 years.
With a large market share and a turnover of EUR 15 million, Australia is the company's most important global export market after continental Europe and the USA.
