¡Hola!, Felipe Ángeles
Starting in less than three weeks, on 7 July 2023, Lufthansa Cargo will operate all of its six B777F flights that previously served Mexico City International Airport (MEX) to Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU), about 45 km northeast of Mexico City.
The German cargo carrier is thus following the requirements of a decree issued by the Mexican government, which prohibits airlines from flying freighters to MEX in the future for capacity reasons.
In addition to the freighter connections, Lufthansa Airlines passenger aircraft continue to operate seven weekly flights from Frankfurt with B747-8 as well as three weekly A350 connections from Munich to MEX.
Lufthansa Cargo provides truck shuttle services to ensure fast and efficient cargo transfers between the two airports. (ah)
