Heppner swallows Safram
Groupe Heppner is continuing its expansion course following the purchase of Hamacher Logistik, ABC and Dina. Heppner was founded in 1925 in Alsace and specialises in goods transport between France and Germany. It is now taking over the Safram Group, headquartered in western Switzerland.
Safram has locations in France, Germany, UK and Hungary and brings essential expertise in the transport of dangerous goods and customs clearance. 50% of its operations are dangerous goods transport.
With a staff of 400, Safran achieved a turnover of CHF 90 million in 2020. Heppner employs 3,570 people and generated a turnover of EUR 710 million in 2020. (sh)
