Helping Indonesia fight the pandemic
In response to the unprecedented health crisis in Southeast Asia, Singapore's Changi Airport community has come together to support Indonesia in its fight against the pandemic with a donation of 1,380 oxygen concentrators. These are donated by Changi Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Changi Airport Group, together with over 30 other airport partners and individual airport staff.
Cargolux, Singapore Airlines, SATS and Ceva Logistics are undertaking the shipment of the oxygen concentrators from Los Angeles to Singapore and onward to Jakarta.
Richard Forson, president & CEO of Cargolux: "Cargolux and Changi airport have a long-standing relationship based on shared values. Singapore and Jakarta are key destinations in our network and we are committed to supporting the communities we serve." (ah)
