Hellmann takes over Czech CEP unit
Czech and Slovakian-based overnight express provider Optimnet Solutions is joining the German Hellmann group. Shareholder Ondřej Zíta remains managing director and will report to Wilfried Hesselmann (head of CEP Europe, Hellmann). The 37 Optimnet employees will be taken over by the Hellmann group.
Founded in Prague in 2016, Optimnet expanded to Slovakia in 2018. Hellmann already tapped into the Hungarian and Romanian markets with the acquisition of Innight last year. Hellmann is particularly interested in Optimnet’s clients in the agricultural and automotive sectors.
"Now we will be able to smoothly build on the business relationships that have already been successfully established in Czechia and Slovakia in recent years, to continue growing here and beyond Eastern Europe," Hesselmann said. (sh)
