Hellmann inaugurates new CEP facility
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is expanding its presence in the Leipzig/Halle region (Germany) and moving into a new 2,000 sqm warehouse facility in Kabelsketal. By relocating from the previous hub in Krostitz into larger cargo handling halls, Hellmann is responding to the acquisition of renowned customers particularly from the automotive and agricultural sector in the night star express segment.
With its new cargo handling warehouse in Kabelsketal the company now has sufficient capacity for a sustainable expansion of its regional CEP (courier express parcel) business. Here, Hellmann places a particular strategic focus on customers from the pharmaceutical, machine spare parts and automotive industries.
The new CEP branch lies in a strategic location close to the motorway and in immediate vicinity to the industrial area Star Park Halle, in which Hellmann has been operating a large contract logistics facility since 2016. (mw)
