Heavy duty carrier buys new vehicles
Universal Transport in Germany continues to expand its vehicle fleet. The provider of heavy duty logistics services recently purchased a STZ-VP 3 low bed saddle with a total weight of 62 t and a MPA 7 semitrailer totalling 110 t from manufacturer Goldhofer.
The trucks are intended for the company’s location in Gotha in eastern Germany and will be deployed for general cargo and heavy duty transports. Both vehicles have an axle load of 12t per axle line and thus provide a higher payload compared to vehicles with the customary 10 t steering arm axles.
Universal Transport specialises in heavy goods transports for the construction, wind power, rail, industry and large vehicle sectors. (ben)
