Hawaiian Airlines renews digitisation partnership
Hawaiian Airlines has renewed its five-year contract with SmartKargo, continuing the cloud-delivered real-time management of the carrier’s air cargo business using the end-to-end software as a service (SaaS) solution.
Since adopting the platform in 2014 as the first US carrier, Hawaiian has used the integrated tools that the SmartKargo SaaS solution offers to support and grow its domestic and international cargo business, including the addition of freighter-configured ATR-72 aircraft to support a new intra-island all cargo overnight service.
Brad Matheny, Hawaiian's managing director of cargo: "As a result of the partnership, our team was able to further digitise our processes to support faster airfreight operations, growth and an improved experience for our customers in Hawaii and abroad." (ah)
