Harder logistics invests in scanning technology
Harder logistics has invested in digital archiving solutions and built up its own scanning centre. In response to an increasing demand for the digitisation of traditional archiving systems, Harder logistics decided to add this service to its portfolio at the beginning of this year.
To that end, the company invested in high-performance scanners, scanners for documents up to DIN A0 size and back-up scanners, the necessary software and the development of appropriate processes. Meanwhile, up to seven employees are working in the scanning centre.
Benjamin Wochnik of Harder logistics uses a comparison to explain why it pays off for companies to hand over the digitisation of their archives to professionals: “With a conventional multifunction scanner it takes about a day to scan a well-filled DIN A4 folder. With our high-performance scanner we can do the job within minutes.” (mw)
