Hard days for Italian air freight specialists
Anama, the Italian Association of air freight agents, reiterates that, albeit with difficulty, the national air industry and airports are not closed. They operate and guarantee their service, which is essential for the country since more than 26% in value of its non-EU exports travel by air.
Anama president Alessandro Albertini: "The effort of our companies and our staff in this serious moment is commendable. Some airlines have cancelled passenger flights for shorter or longer periods of time. Other companies evaluate from time to time whether or not to confirm flights according to the level of loading of aircraft."
The association's members are doubling their efforts to guarantee the service for their customers, keeping them constantly updated and reallocating the goods in case of cancellations. (ah)
