Hapag-Lloyd's terminals rebrand for growth

Effective from 1 July, Hapag-Lloyd's terminal and infrastructure division will be rebranded as Hanseatic Global Terminals, reflecting its growth ambitions and maritime tradition. Based in Rotterdam and operational since June 2023, this independent unit aims to enhance operational efficiency and promote sustainable growth.

The new brand will manage and consolidate terminal and infrastructure investments at 20 terminals in eleven countries. Key locations include Container Terminal Altenwerder in Hamburg, Jade Weser Port in Wilhelmshaven, Terminal TC3 in Tangier, and Terminal 2 in Damietta, currently under construction. With the rebranding, the company seeks to provide more reliable services and support sustainability efforts. (pb)
