Hapag-Lloyd chooses Donya-Florence Amer
Hapag-Lloyd's supervisory board has appointed Donya-Florence Amer to the executive board. She will join the company as chief information officer (CIO) on 1 February 2022.
Amer began her professional career at IBM in 1999, holding various management positions. She has served in leadership roles at Bosch since 2017, initially as executive vice president and as a member of the CIO management board. Since 2020, she has been the CEO of Bosch Climate Solutions, of which she was a co-founder.
As CIO, Amer will be the fifth member of the executive board – alongside CEO Rolf Habben Jansen, CFO Mark Frese, COO Dr Maximilian Rothkopf and CPO Joachim Schlotfeldt. She will also be the first woman to serve on the company’s executive board in its then-175-year history. (cj)
