Hapag-Lloyd changes rotations in the Med
Hapag-Lloyd is adapting its Adriatic Express Service (ADX) and changing its current rotation as of week 18. On 20 April 2020, the service will be converted from the previous butterfly concept to a round trip. The first vessel performing the new rotation will be the "MV Okee Alicia Voyage 396 N" (ETS Damietta 27 April 2020).
As from this sailing, the revised port rotation of the ADX will be as follows: Damietta - Koper - Ancona - Rijeka - Venice - Piraeus - Damietta. Thus, the latest rotation from May 2019, being Damietta - Koper - Venice - Piraeus - Rijeka - Venice - Ancona - Damietta, is no longer valid.
Hitherto, the ADX service was operated with three 1,700 teu vessels, all deployed by Hapag-Lloyd, which has transhipment hubs in Piraeus and Damietta. (mw)
