Hans-Peter Trachsler takes the helm at Dachser
Hans-Peter Trachsler has been named director of Dachser Spedition, effective early March 2022. He takes over from Urs Häner, who is set to retire after an initial handover period. In addition to his role as European logistics managing director, Trachsler will head up the company’s branch in Regensdorf in the canton of Zurich, which also serves as the company’s regional office for European logistics.
Trachsler's career began in 1994. For more than 20 years, he has held various management positions within the transport and logistics sector. Prior to joining Dachser Spedition, Trachsler was CEO of Schenker Schweiz in Zurich.
Dachser Switzerland has eight locations in the country, employs 286 people and generated a net turnover of CHF 99.05 million in 2020. (cj)
