Hamburg sends relief supplies to Odessa
The "Hamburg-Odessa Port Bridge" action alliance, consisting of Hamburg-based aid organisations, companies, and associations, has sent urgently needed relief supplies to a children's hospital in the Odessa region, Ukraine.
The port of Hamburg and the port of Odessa have a long-standing partnership, and several partners have joined forces to support the people of Odessa affected by the war. The relief supplies include medical consumables, food, and medical technology.
HHLA organises the transport of these materials from Hamburg's Altenwerder Container Terminal to Odessa with the help of its European logistics network. The aid will be distributed by the humanitarian coordination team of the Odessa military administration upon arrival.
