Hactl wins sustainability award
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest independent cargo handler – has scooped up the sustainability award, at the pride of ground handling awards. Sustainability is a new award category introduced this year.
Judges sought evidence of quality, teamwork, safety policies and passion for ground handling, when examining the entries. Hactl’s award submission majored on its “sustainability matrix” - a comprehensive model spanning decarbonisation, energy, waste, health and safety, education (training), livelihood and community.
Wilson Kwong, chief executive Hactl: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award in recognition of our efforts and investment in sustainability. For us, sustainability is not an option but an imperative.” (cj)
