GW's Georgian gateway
Gebrüder Weiss (GW)’s hub in Tblisi, Georgia, recently welcomed a delegation from the German committee on Eastern European economic relations. The newly expanded and strategically located hub has its own rail connection and is close to the Tblisi International Airport.
With a staff of 115 employees and 16,500 sqm of logistics space in the Georgian capital, GW has confirmed its position in the regional market. The site also gives GW access to the Middle Corridor and other Central and East Asian trade routes.
“Since we entered the Georgian market more than a decade ago, we have been able to continuously increase the country’s advantages as an attractive location for logistics services,” says Alexander Kharlamov, country manager Georgia, GW. (mk)
