GS1 France chooses Didier Veloso
Didier Veloso has been appointed executive chairman of GS1 France. An HEC graduate, he began his career at Nestlé France in 1992 and moved to Unilever in 1997, where he held various international roles. Veloso returned to France in 2018 and created his consulting company.
“I’m delighted to join GS1 France in a context of transformation, where the need for identification in trade has never been so strong, to continue to strengthen the operational efficiency of companies while promoting the advent of a more responsible consumption, based on use, reuse and circularity,” Veloso said.
GS1 is a global, neutral, not-for-profit organisation created to facilitate and automate trade between partners based on a single, globally-recognised and used identification system. (cj)
