Gruber Logistics opens branch in Poland
After opening a new subsidiary in Katowice (Poland), Gruber Logistics now has 28 locations in Europe and Asia. Thanks to its strategic position, the metropolitan area around Katowice is one of the most important economic and industrial centres in Eastern Europe and therefore the ideal starting point from which to expand into the Polish market.
Bettina Wisthaler, who is in charge of the project, is confident that Katowice will very soon become a major location for the entire group: “The countries of Eastern Europe, and especially Poland, have been experiencing particularly strong economic growth and dynamic market development over the past few years. In addition to the high potentials of the local transport and logistics sector, this is reason enough for us to strengthen our presence in the region.”
While placing its main focus on complete loads, the Katowice branch will offer the company’s full portfolio of services: from heavy-duty and special transports, partial loads and groupage to sea freight, air freight and logistics. (mw)
