Gruber and Siemens choose e-trucks
The electric truck has taken over transports within a radius of 100 km for Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s plant for low-voltage switchgear in Leipzig, Germany. Gruber Logistics’ vehicle covers an average of 250 km a day or 60,000 km a year - with zero emissions. It is fuelled with electricity produced from 100% renewable energy.
It is not the first green truck to serve the two companies in Germany: they already use an LNG truck on the route between Berlin and Frankfurt am Main and a bio-LNG truck between Gütersloh and Frankfurt. (ben)
