Trade between the Gulf nations and emerging Asian nations continue to show high growth momentum, surging 35% from USD 383 billion in 2021 to USD 516 billion in 2022, and is expected to reach USD 757 billion by 2030, outstripping growth rate with Western nations such as the US, the UK and the Euro Area.
That's why Teleport, an integrated logistics provider based in Malaysia, and Etihad Cargo from Abu Dhabi have partnered to inject cargo capacity and frequency on their respective networks of maindeck and bellyhold services between Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with plans to increase frequency in the near future.
