Growing Kazakh flag carrier renews ULD partnership

Kazakhstan’s national airline Air Astana has renewed its long-term partnership with Jettainer for unit load device (ULD) management.

The collaboration, which began in 2007, will support Air Astana’s planned fleet expansion to 80 aircraft by 2028, including the addition of Boeing B787s. As ULD requirements grow and diversify, Jettainer will provide tailored solutions to ensure operational efficiency.

“We’re confident that Jettainer will support our growth with the innovative ULD services we need,” said Berik Abdrakhmanov, Air Astana’s director of ground services. Jettainer CEO Dr Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt noted the airline’s continued trust, highlighting the flexibility and reliability of their customised services. (ah)
