Grieshaber sets up new branch at Düsseldorf airport
For international customers with time-critical deliveries, Grieshaber Logistik consolidates ist air freight competence at a newly opened location at Düsseldorf airport (Germany). With short distances to all airlines and relevant service providers, the new hub processes all air freight operations centrally for the entire Grieshaber group.
The portfolio comprises export, import and cross trades as air charter, express cargo, general cargo, consol and dangerous goods regulations as well as door-to-door, oversize und heavy-duty goods transports and special solutions.
Bernd Thewissen leads the new location. He assumed his role on 1 March 2020 with a staff of three employees. To begin with, the team will focus on expanding cooperation with existing customers. The next step will be to extend the location's portfolio to offer sea freight services. (mw)
