Greiwing celebrates 90th anniversary
The German logistics services provider is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. To mark this event, the company unveiled a special silo semitrailer at its headquarters in Greven (North Rhine Westphalia). The trailer is painted with the picture of the first truck that was driven under the Greiwing flag.
The company, which remains in family hands to this day, was founded by Alfons Greiwing in 1930. The firm is now run by Jürgen and Roland Greiwing and the two other managing directors Matthias Geiss and Matthias Gehrigk. Business performance and results confirm the success of the company’s strategy: Until now, its workforce has grown to more than 800 employees.
At its twelve locations, the family firm generates an annual turnover of more than EUR 100 million and, with its high quality standards it has gained an excellent reputation among Germany’s silo logistics providers. “The field is now set for the fourth generation and we are looking forward to continuing our company’s success story in the future,” Jürgen Greiwing says.
