Green shuttle from Frankfurt to the Western ports
From 4 April 2022, Contargo is introducing a new container train connection between Frankfurt in Germany and Antwerp in Belgium. The shuttle will start with a fixed timetable and one round trip per week.
The block train will leave Frankfurt on Mondays and arrive at the first terminal in Antwerp (1700) on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays it calls at the terminals 869 and 913 and then returns to Frankfurt.
At the same time, Contargo is increasing the frequency of the existing rail connection to Rotterdam (Frankfurt-Rotterdam Shuttle) from twice to three times a week. Contargo transports 2.1 million teu annually. (ben)
