GMI builds near Birmingham
Logistics and real estate developer St. Modwen Logistics has contracted the GMI Construction Group to build a new 50,000 sqm industrial/logistics unit close to Longbridge, Birmingham (UK).
The development, marketed as “Longbridge 155”, will feature an array of sustainable design enhancements, energy saving technologies and net zero carbon in operation features. Construction of the facility started in February and the building is expected to be available from Q3/2022.
The new property is situated at the Cofton Centre, a self-contained secure, managed estate which is an integral part of the largest regeneration project in the West Midlands. (sh)
