GLS names new CEO
The GLS Group (General Logistics Systems) has appointed Dr Karl Pfaff as its new chief executive officer. On 1 October he succeeded Martin Seidenberg, who was appointed Group CEO of IDS in August.
Pfaff has a proven track record in the German and international parcel and logistics industry. He joined GLS in 2014 after working for the Lufthansa Group and the management consultancy Bain & Company.
At GLS, Pfaff held various positions in strategy, sales and operational management before being appointed CEO of GLS Germany in 2020, simultaneously becoming a member of the GLS Group’s executive team. Since April he’s been group area managing director for the cluster Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg. (cj)
