Global X: 100 cargo flights to Cuba
This year and starting today, 21 February 2023, Global Crossing Airlines Group will operate over 100 cargo flights with its A321 Freighter to Havana, Cuba on behalf of OFAC approved operator Cubamax.
“We are delighted to be working with Cubamax to provide two weekly cargo flights from Miami to Havana, starting 21 February 2023,” said Ed Wegel, chairman and CEO.
Currently Global X has one A321F aircraft and is expecting the second A321F to arrive by mid-March, with the third A321F to be delivered in May.
Global X currently is scheduled to take delivery of additional three A321F aircraft in 2023 for a total of six, and two in 2024. Additionally, the carrier is working to finalise leases on lessor commitments for another five A321F aircraft to be delivered in the 2024-2025 time frame and is working on LOIs for two additional A321F aircraft.
