Girteka extends telematics in its fleet
The Lithuanian haulier has started working with telematics provider Fleethand to drive its digital transformation forward.
Today, telematics systems are integrated within every Girteka truck. This allows customers to track the position of the cargo and the eco parameters as well as to monitor the performance of the truck and trailer.
Drivers benefit when making payments for road tolls, looking for directions and routes or obtaining the necessary documents.
Fleethand’s extended telematics will eliminate the risk of data loss. It will also further increase efficiency by using innovative digital tools and by enabling drivers to harness the AI operator (AI-generated route), Girteka said. (ben)
