Girteka Europe West – new CEO, new name
The Girteka Group has appointed Nikolay Pargov as CEO of its logistics business, Girteka Europe West UAB, effective 7 April.
The company will also be officially renamed Girteka Logistics UAB on 2 May, to better reflect its strategic focus on temperature-controlled and high-care cargo transportation in Europe.
Pargov, who joined the company in September 2024, brings over 20 years of experience from roles at DHL, C.H. Robinson Europe and Transporeon with him. “I’m honoured by the trust placed in me and am looking forward to continuing our mission of providing outstanding service and reliability,” he said.
Edvardas Liachovičius, recently named CEO of Girteka Group, highlighted the renaming as an important step in aligning the company’s identity with its core business.
Girteka Logistics operates alongside TNDM Trucking, ClassTrucks and Thermo-Transit under the Girteka Group umbrella. (ah)
