Gefco launches new web portal
Automotive logistics provider Gefco is supporting its customers with Gefco Visibility, a new web portal. Developed by Wisetech Global, the tool helps users to administer all shipments from booking to invoicing.
The software features several modules, including a reporting module to draw up detailed reports on forwarding activities and a finance module providing access to the latest financial data. The exception management module enables customers to install automatic alerts and notifications on any deviation from the standard shipment process or upon completion of milestones.
Gefco Visibility is also linked to Gefco’s voice-activated shipment tracking tool Tracy. With this application, customers can obtain important shipment information by means of voice commands that are enabled by smart speaker technology. The tool is available in 78 languages and 47 countries. (mw)
