Gefco launches mission control centre
Gefco has launched its dedicated mission control centre (MCC) in Amsterdam to manage global time critical solutions (TCS) within the freight forwarding business line.
The MCC has been designed to provide 24/7 service to Gefco’s customers worldwide, supporting its dedicated TCS network teams, alongside nominated partner agents across the globe.
The centre will monitor all TCS freight forwarding solutions booked globally via its innovative, global IT system, to ensure the network continues to meet high performance KPIs for customers.
Moreover, it will provide Gefco's TCS local operation teams with greater insight on global shipments to ensure an even more proactive and faster service. The MCC team will be led by Vincent Karbet and Chantal van Loen, who both contribute extensive TCS experience to the operation. (mw)
