Gebrüder Weiss introduces ETA
Now that Gebrüder Weiss has introduced ETA (estimated time of delivery), its customers will receive even more precise information concerning delivery times.
Depending on the traffic situation, the logistics services provider will continuously update its calculation of the anticipated time of arrival for each individual shipment. The times of arrival at the end customer are calculated within a two-hour time window. Customers can access the dispatching process and download their consignments’ anticipated time of arrival.
Gebrüder Weiss offers this digital service for groupage freight wherever the company is responsible for last-mile deliveries. The introduction of the ETA application is part of the company’s digital strategy. Gebrüder Weiss aims at providing an optimal combination of efficiency on the ground and digital tools. (mw)
