Gebrüder Weiss expands network in Russia
Effective immediately, Gebrüder Weiss offers its customers overland transport services to all regions in Russia. The logistics services provider guarantees wide-ranging deliveries across the world's largest country through its new exclusive partner JDE (Zheldor Ekspeditsiya).
With 244 locations in Russia alone, the general cargo forwarder JDE runs one of the country's largest domestic networks. "Many of our international customers have now built up their own production plants in Russia and also deliver their products in this country. With JDE we have found a partner that is established in the Russian market and has a large overland network and logistics know-how. JDE is also very familiar with the needs and customs of local markets," says Thomas Moser, director and regional manager Black Sea/CIS at Gebrüder Weiss.
With this partnership, JDE's customers also gain direct access to Gebrüder Weiss' international network – and connections to the markets in central and southeast Europe, central Asia and USA. (mw)
