Garbe buys in Kaiserslautern
Garbe Industrial Real Estate wants to further expand its activities in Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany) and to this end has acquired a 31,000 sqm development area with an unrented property in Kaiserslautern.
“The 4,000 sqm building is currently empty and has good rent potential. It could be equipped for a variety of uses and would be of interest for companies from the logistics, trade, light industrial and production sectors, for instance,” says Jan Dietrich Hempel, managing director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate.
The existing areas on the plot could be extended by a further 9,000 sqm hall space, which could be developed to meet user-specific requirements. Hempel adds that his company intends to continue strengthening its presence in the region: “We want to grow in Germany’s southwest and are currently searching for other suitable plots and properties to invest in.” (mw)
