ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has announced several extensions to its North-South services: The carrier has introduced a regular train between the Sommacampagna-Sona terminal near Verona (Italy) and the Vienna South CCT terminal (Austria) for the transport of containers and swap bodies.

RCG has also expanded its services for swap bodies and cranable trailers on its Duisburg (Germany) –Villach (Austria) – Ljubljana (Slovenia) line from four to five roundtrips and raised the frequency on its Budapest (Hungary) - Neuss (Germany) route from three to five round trips per week.

Furthermore, the carrier launched a new weekly block train between Burghausen (Germany) and Trieste (Italy) at the beginning of April. (ben)
