Further equipment for Montreal

New cranes for the port of Montreal. Logistec Stevedoring, a dry bulk terminal operator in the Canadian port of Montreal, ordered a Konecranes Gottwald model 7 mobile harbour crane in June. It will be delivered in October and will handle dry bulk cargo, including scrap metal.

The port of Montreal is a major port on the eastern seaboard of North America that serves Toronto, central Canada and the Midwest and Northeast of the USA. Almost half of its import traffic comes from Europe.

Logistec already operates a Konecranes Gottwald model 5 at the port of Corner Brook, Newfoundland (Canada) and two model 6 units at port Manatee FL (USA). (cd)
