Full steam ahead for Turkish Cargo's growing fleet
Turkish Cargo is increasing its capacities in order to avoid delays. Despite the fact that the cargo capacity on board the PAX aircraft is significantly narrowed down due to global travel restrictions and the decrease in customer demand, the carrier now plans to utilise from all of the freighters in its fleet, which during the past four years has grown from 13 to 25, in full capacity for the purpose of meeting all the requirements of exportation in Turkey as well as foreign trade of critical importance.
Despite the unusual change of demand and in compliance with the restrictions imposed by the national authorities, Turkish Cargo will start to serve cargo transportation needs by also making use of the aircraft available in the fleet of its parent company Turkish Airlines. (ah)
