Full speed ahead from Hong Kong to Europe
A China Railway Express (CRE) train carrying electronic products, electrical and mechanical equipment, light textiles and other goods, was despatched from Pinghu South Station in Shenzhen and left China via the Alataw Pass. The train recently arrived in Duisburg, Germany after a 16 day long journey.
This is the first CRE train in the Chinese Year of the Ox and the 40th service in 2021 to be sent off from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, China Railways said.
In this area, CRE train routes have so far been launched from Shilong, Pinghu South, Dalang, and Changping, linking China with Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other countries. (ben)
