Full freighters under Paraguay's flag?
In Paraguay, an airline designed for freight transport could start operations before the end of this year or at the very beginning of next year.
Félix Kanazawa, president of the National Aviation Directorate (Dinac) has been working towards this goal in recent weeks and holding meetings various domestic and foreign entrepreneurs to this effect.
For the project, the Paraguayan airline Isgeair FBO, which would operate the new airline from Asunción, plans to build a fleet for each type of operation, such as a B737-200F (20 t capacity) for the regional network, as well as a B757-200F (36 t) and, depending on how business progresses on medium and long-haul routes, an A330-200F.
