Fruitier follows Le Guilloux
After the withdrawal of Thierry Le Guilloux, Thibault Fruitier, CEO of the French intermodal services providers Novatrans and Greenmodal, has been elected by the steering committee of the Groupement National des Transports Combinés (national association of intermodal transport, GNTC), founded in 1945, as the new president of the train and terminal commission.
Fruitier's task will be to lead the commission, which is composed by railway operators and multimodal platform providers, and to monitor ongoing activities in the railfreight sector in order to pursue an ambitious development strategy for the modal shift.
Fruitier: "Our first priority is the control of the performance of combined rail and road transport." (amh)
