From Wisag to CHI
CHI Aviation Handling has expanded its management team. On 1 February Hakan Sener joined Kai Domscheit and Dominik Mißkampf on its management board.
Sener was previously a managing director at Wisag Ground Service Frankfurt and brings over 40 years of air cargo logistics experience with him. A key focus for him will be to reduce processing times between aircraft stand and forwarders. CHI offers a ‘Speedgate’ service at its Frankfurt site, ensuring freight is ready for collection within two hours.
To expand airline handling, the CHI Cargo Group has formed partnerships with major German airports. It is also streamlining e-commerce logistics by integrating customs clearance, freight handling and trucking under one platform. It currently handles shipments for major e-commerce players, including Temu. (ah)
